Mount Brown Hill Climb - Saturday 14th April from 9am

Supported by Motorcycling WA and the Shire of York WA, the York Vintage Hill Climb will be held on Saturday the 14th of April at Mt Brown on the edge of town. It will be riders and their machines against the mountain, trying to crack the nominated time. A great selection of vintage and classic machines from the 1920s up to the late 1970s will be participating at pace. Riders will be given two timed passes, after which they will nominate a time to match. Their aim will be to try and have the next three timed passes as close to their nominated time. The event is run by enthusiasts from the Western Australian Vintage motorcycle community. There will be a good mix of bikes from many marques, some of which are quite rare, so it will be a treat to see them performing as they were intended.

The event is open to spectators from 9am and is expected to end by 3.00pm. A courtesy bus will be operating to ferry spectators to the start line on Mt Brown. The road will be closed to traffic. The bus will leave from the Recreation Centre, Avon Terrace near Shell Garage and Cemetery carpark Herbert Rd and back during the day.

Food and refreshments will be available on site. You may wish to bring a folding chair and sun protection.
